After the loss of CRT #001 I’ve got back with 2 other CRT’s. Here you see the results that came out of these.
Unfortunately another has to give his life in the name of science. RIP CRT #002 1999 – 2015

My current idea around the audio/typo assignment stranded on a audio visualization (oscillator) on a monitor, and on the other hand another monitor with typo visualization. This one will be triggered by a program (currently Resolume) by pressing characters on a keyboard. So by pressing a character it with show a character on Screen 1 with the sound of this one, this will be triggered to Screen 2 that will put these into an audio visualization. Beneath you’ll see a rough sketch of this concept.

Last week my order from supermagnete.be arrived and I also got myself an CRT-screen to destroy.
I ordered several neodymium magnets of different strength and size to see the difference between each one of them,
and by this I can figure out which one (or combination) is the best for my task.
So I got to work by distorting a text-based element on screen (credits of a movie) to see what kind of shapes I could create by using these neodymium magnets. This was the result.
